Motor or biogas heat recovery
Certain equipment generates heat during operation. This heat can be recovered in several processes to evaporate the liquid effluents or heat solid matter.
EVAP'OVIVE

EVAP’OVIVE is an evaporation process at atmospheric pressure. This allows the discharge to evaporate in order to reduce the volumes of effluents discharged or to respect low water constraints.

K-THERM

The K-THERM process is a biological sludge dryer used after K-BOX dewatering.
Biological sludge is put in slow motion by a rotary screen in a heated room. Upstream, the heat from the hot-water loop (motor or boiler) are converted to hot air by a finned coil.

Biomass drying/SRF

- a hot air production unit (which converts the energy from the hot-water loop into hot air) with a ventilation network
- containerized hot air diffusion devices or drying boxes, with the possibility of combining the two

- Liquid biological sludge (mixing a compost co-product)
- Timber industry: wood chips, logs, wood chips for pellets
- Digestates resulting from methanization
- Grains
- Compost
- SRF
- All coarse organic products

Leachates pretreatment in a heated lagoon

Biological treatment in a lagoon combines leachate reheating and aeration in order to provide optimal conditions for bacteria all year round.
The thermal energy is transferred to the leachates by a specific heat exchanger. The basins are aerated by surface aerators.
The performance achieved with this type of pretreatment is interesting in terms of its biodegradable COD and the nitrification of ammonia.
